Fry’s Vegetarian Meat Free Christmas  Menu

Its a hard job but someone has to do it.

Yes when my super fab friend Tony Bishop Weston was asked to invent some rather yummy Christmas goodies for the equally as amazing Fry’s Vegetarian team I had the tough job of scoffing all of the delights that evening.

And rather delicious they all were too I have to say.

Well we all know and love Fr’ys and making use of these goodies is something we will be doing this Christmas – so time now to experiment and make sure its all on track for the big day.

However I am sorry – this is a teaser – I will pop up the recipes soon – I thought I would show off the rather fab looking photos to make you feel hungry first!

And also have a look here at our new Veggie Christmas clip from Fry’s too!

Be warned…. It will make you hungry :O)

Starter: Scampish Cocktail

Retro Pub Dish Scampi basket gets a healthy makeover with lots of healthy salad and using Fry’s pops and Swiss Vegusto Garlic dairy free mayo.

Main Course: “Turk-ish” Christmas Strudel with Herby Beanie Balls

Spare the Turkey with Fry’s Chicken strips parceled up in crispy seeded filo pastry with a colourful festive concoction of chestnuts, red cranberries, and Christmas green curly kale. Served with herby hazelnut and Fry’s beefy veggie mince balls and a selection of winter vegetables.

Party Foods:

Port ‘n’ Mince Pies

Save Santa an alternative to sickly sweet mince pies with these Umami-liscious savoury festive party pies. Made with Fry’s beefy low fat high protein veggie mince, mushrooms, omega 3 rich walnuts and red pepper sautéed in port wine.

Polony Pizzettes

Perfect flash mob low fat party snacks. Mini pittas with plantastic pasta sauce, Fry’s veggie Polony and Swiss Vegusto Dairy free cheese topped with olives. These are not just any pizzas, they are not even Marks and Spencer Pizzas – these are pizzettes to win you a ‘domestic goddess or god’ sticker.

“Turk-ish” Satay Party Sticks

Totally Free-From turkey, not even from Turkey these meat free kebab sticks are made with Fry’s Vegetarian Chicken Strips and dipped in a (previously) secret family Dutch satay sauce recipe then baked in the oven.

Designed by Leading Vegetarian Chef Tony Bishop-Westonand author of several vegetarian cookery books including “The Ultimate Book of Vegan Cooking” for Fry’s Vegetarian.
